Propaganda means to convey a message and religious propaganda means to convey the message of religion to others. The customary meaning of Islamic propaganda is any action, behavior or speech of Muslims that conveys the message of Islam to others. Propaganda in the field of theology means conveying the monotheistic content of the Qur'an to the audience.
This research has been written in a descriptive-analytical method and has explained the necessity of propaganda and the pathology of religious propaganda. The purpose of this study is to explain the necessity of propagating theology and expressing the harms of propaganda in this field. The result of this research shows that propaganda in the field of theology has individual and social necessity; In individual necessity, theology is a medium for the reconstruction and correction of human thoughts and spiritual system, and in social necessity, theology causes social development and guarantee in society. Findings show that religious propaganda operations in the field of theology in propaganda centers - regardless of the wisdom of the invitation - has the following disadvantages: "Ignoring the role and necessity of propagating theology through thinking in the divine craft while having a religious duty", "not institutionalizing thought as a tool of theology", "not paying attention to the interrelationship between self-knowledge and theology" and "not paying attention to the conditions of propaganda in "This is the field."
