Abstract
Propagators are the guardians of the religious and cultural thoughts of the society, and propagation is an eternal art, which is shown on the board of existence with the persistent efforts of propagators. In the process of propagation, the skill of communicating with the audience plays a significant role in the success of the propagator and the effectiveness of his words. Therefore, communication techniques are very important in the propagation of religion. The present research was conducted with the aim of achieving the techniques of communication skills in the propagation of religion. In order to achieve this goal, the concept of skill, communication, propagation and communication skills has been explained via the descriptive-analytical method, then by searching religious texts and psychological sciences, the best and most efficient methods of communication skills in propagation has been found. The findings of this study are based on the fact that communication skills are of two types; verbal and non-verbal. The types of verbal communication skills that are more prominent in propagation include clarity and comprehensibility of speech, appropriateness of speech, honesty, gratefulness, and praise for good deeds, and the non-verbal communication skills needed by the preacher include things such as ignoring, grooming, active listening, looking, and humility.
