Abstract

In the era of occultation, one of the influential elements in the organization of the affairs of the Shiites was the authority of the Shiites that great Shia scholars were in charge of the leadership of Shia in their era. One of the great scholars in the last century was the late Ayatollah Mohammad Hossein Boroujerdi, who played an irreplaceable role in this regard. This Marja' pursued his goals by using various tools to organize the affairs of the Shiites and expand the Shiite culture, and one of these important tools was the matter of propagation. This study is trying to explain the propagation actions of Grand Ayatollah Boroujerdi. The propagation approach of Grand Ayatollah Boroujerdi in the twenties and thirties can be examined in both national and international arenas. In the national arena, Ayatollah Borujerdi, by reviving the Islamic Seminary of Qom and the institution of authority, sent propagators to all regions of Iran, established scholars in other cities, and created an agency to collect funds, organized the propagation affairs of the Islamic seminaries. In the international arena, while seriously pursuing the idea of ​​the proximity of denominations, he took effective measures to send representatives and propagators to other countries and this support has played an effective role in the continuity and stability of the Shiite minority living in the countries of the world. This study examines the actions of Ayatollah Boroujerdi and analyzes them with documentary method and historical description
