Abstract
In Islam, guiding people is considered the highest service, and one of the most effective methods for this purpose is "propagation through powerful oratory (religious speech)." The concept of oratory entails that the speaker presents their message with verbal and semantic eloquence, offering tranquility to the audience. This study, using library resources and a descriptive-analytical method, examines the ethical imperatives of the art of oratory, with a focus on the audience, yielding the following conclusions:
A good speaker significantly influences the beliefs and thoughts of their audience when they are well-versed in oratory skills and apply them;
Ethical imperatives in oratory fall into three categories: spiritual, internal-individual, and interpersonal;
Spiritual ethics (relationship with God) includes two subcategories: sincerity and faith in the purpose;
Internal-individual ethics (personal ethical dimension) includes two subcategories: knowledge and expertise in oratory, skill in impact and motivation;
Interpersonal ethics (communication ethics) includes four subcategories: eloquence and clarity (precise message delivery), patience and perseverance in purpose, honesty with the audience, and goodwill.
