Abstract

The Holy Quran serves as a warning for all people, and its messenger is a mercy for all the worlds. The question raised here is: what identity-building elements exist in the culture and teachings of Islam that enable its propagation to transcend borders and attract a vast multitude from various nations and cultures? Undoubtedly, within religious teachings, there are elements that have transformed this position and privilege into a universal identity. One of the most important of these elements is the "monotheistic view" of the phenomena of the world and a worldview based on monotheism, which calls all things to God and the purposeful nature of the world. Attention to "spirituality" and intimate connection with God, with the perspective that humans are composed of both body and soul, is another identity-building element that can be emphasized in religious propagation. Furthermore, the focus on the "supernatural and transcendent dimensions" of both human existence and the world, along with the emphasis on "religious rationality," are foundational and authentic advantages of Islamic culture and teachings. In the practical and behavioral dimensions, both individually and socially, Islam also gives special attention to "justice" and has devised extensive programs for the cultivation and "growth of moral virtues" in individuals and society. All these factors enrich its identity-building teachings and make them identifiable in the field of propagation, allowing them to be conveyed to its audience
