Abstract

The strategy of religious education occupies a significant position alongside the other elements of the Islamic educational system, including its foundations, objectives, principles, methods, stages, factors, obstacles, and dimensions. An educational strategy is the most important intermediate objective, directing educational activities in a manner that enables the greatest possible influence on learners within the shortest feasible time. The purpose of the present study is to analyze the strategy of religious education from the perspective of the martyred scholar, Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei. The research adopts a descriptive-analytical method based on the study of his writings and statements. Following the processes of coding and thematic network formation, the educational strategy was analyzed. The findings indicate that, in the view of the martyred leader Ayatollah Khamenei, the central strategy of religious education is conscious faith. The study further identifies several educational implications of this strategy, including drawing lessons from history, demonstrating the power of God, utilizing documentary films, adopting a Qur’anic perspective toward existence, organizing dialogue-centered discussion sessions, establishing courses on Islamic beliefs, and promoting reading habits appropriate to contemporary social conditions and the period of Muharram.
